Overview
Managers and owners of warehouses face a number of new challenges:
- A growing number of industries require specialized monitoring and recording of product-critical environmental variables (e.g. temperature, humidity) to comply with federal regulations (e.g. FDA, FSIS).
- Customers' product quality awareness and expectations are increasing.
- Product spoilage and shrinkage result in significant revenue and image loss.
- Manual data collection is costly and often unreliable.
- Hard wired central monitoring systems are often too expensive to install.

Products
Wireless Sensors
Available in a variety of form factors (e.g. indoor, outdoor,
integrated probe, external probe)
and for measuring different environmental variables (e.g.
temperature,
humidity,
electricity/gas/water,
voltage.)
Sensors are battery-powered (3 to 8 years battery life) and therefore
extremely easy to install.
Mesh Repeaters/Routers
Significantly extend the range and resilience of wireless sensor networks. Using
repeaters,
even sensors in remote locations can be wirelessly connected.
Repeaters are also a good solution to establish wireless links through
"tough" building materials like concrete.
Monitoring Panel
The chemical resistant, waterproof IP65 panel is wall mountable and
contains the embedded data monitoring and logging system. Installation
is as simple as applying line power to the panel. Optionally the panel
can be connected to the Intranet or Internet. This allows to connect to
the panel remotely for centralized data gathering and reporting of
multiple warehouses.
Deployment Tool
The
Site Survey Tool allows users to easily
test the RF link quality and signal strength at desired sensor and repeater locations
prior to installation.
