Data Center Monitoring

Problem

As a  data center operator you need to maximize the performance, availability and life of mission critical assets.

This is becoming more and more of a challenge as business computing demand and data center energy density increase.

Data center monitoring and control is key to maintain uptime while optimizing cooling energy.

wireless data center temperature and relative humidity sensor

Solution
Sensor based environmental monitoring provides a real-time picture of the state of the data center, detecting potential problems and allowing implementation of energy efficiency programs.

Spinwave's environmental monitoring solution features:

  • Low installation cost

Wireless: Mount sensors easily at required locations. Standard batteries can power sensors for years.

No new software required: Wireless sensor networks integrate with virtually any existing building automation (via Modbus, BACnet, LON) system or network management application (via SNMP) through a protocol gateway.

  • High Reliability Mesh Network

Mesh network wireless protocol outsmarts changing RF interference with self-adapting frequency agility.

Data quality indicator flags low-battery or communication time-out.

  • Flexible and scalable

  • The network is scalable from a few to hundreds of sensors. Wireless sensors can be easily moved as requirements change. A broad range of sensors are available, including: Temperature (one or more points), Relative Humidity, Pulse (power/gas/water meters), Voltage (to interface with pressure and air flow sensors, leak detectors). Repeaters may be added to extend the RF range up to an additional 3,500 feet.

  • Proven

Products are used by leading data center operators world-wide.
